The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) invests in research and development as part of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) broad portfolio approach to addressing our Nation’s energy and environmental challenges.
This FOA announces DOE’s intent to support marine and hydrokinetic research and development projects in three Topic Areas:
- Early stage device design research
- Controls and power take off design integration and testing
- Dissemination of environmental data and analyses to facilitate the marine energy regulatory process
