BOEM Releases Ocean Science Journal, Volume 9 Issue 1

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has released Volume 9, Issue 1 of BOEM Ocean Science, their quarterly Science and Technology Journal, BOEM’s first publication following their recent reorganization.  The journal is a compilation of the most recent ocean science and offshore energy information and research. NOPP Program Update: March 2012

Staff from the NOPP Program Office attended the annual project review of the Fiscal Year 2009 NOPP topic, Improving Tropical Cyclone Intensity Models, in Miami, Florida in March. Funded Primary Investigators (PIs) gave presentations to update the NOPP Office and Program Managers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) on their projects. During the month of November, the Interagency Working Group on Facilities and Infrastructure (IWG-FI), the Interagency Working Group on Ocean Partnerships (IWG-OP), the IWG-FI Task Force on Unmanned Systems (TFUS), and the full Subcommittee on Ocean Science and Technology (SOST) all held meetings.
